RESUMO
O presente trabalho foi fruto de uma pesquisa realizada na cidade de Parnaíba–Piauí, Brasil. O objetivo geral foi apresentar o Turismo Pedagógico, este segmento turístico, como alternativa metodológica de ensino/aprendizagem e de produção de conhecimento para fim de qualificar o ensino, assim, fundamentando-se em alguns teóricos das áreas: pedagogia e turismo além dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (2007). Este estudo fez uso de pesquisa exploratória, qualitativa e quantitativa. Os resultados demonstraram, dentre outros fatores, que os sujeitos da pesquisa concordaram em utilizar e incentivar a prática do Turismo Pedagógico, pois acreditam que esta modalidade turística contribui no ensino e na aprendizagem dos alunos de escolas públicas. Assim sendo, identificou-se entre gestores e alunos os anseios e necessidades do ensino/aprendizagem, reflexões e mudanças no ambiente escolar, para fim de colocar em prática a teoria, e com isso, facilitar o entendimento do aluno que se encontra em fase final da educação básica.

Pedagogical Tourism: in teaching/learning in public schools Parnaíba/Piauí/Brazil

ABSTRACT
This work was the result of a research conducted in the city of Parnaíba-Piauí, Brazil. The overall goal was to present pedagogical tourism, the tourism sector, as a methodological alternative teaching / learning and knowledge production in order to quality education. This study made use of exploratory research, qualitative and quantitative. The results showed, among other factors, that the research subjects agreed to encourage the use and practice of pedagogical tourism, as they believe that this type of tourism contributes to the teaching and learning of students in public schools. Thus, we identified between managers and students the wishes and needs of teaching and learning, reflections and changes in the school environment, in order to put theory into practice, and thereby facilitate the understanding of the student who is in the final stage basic education.
