RESUMEN
Introducción: El aborto en la adolescencia constituye un elemento fundamental que afecta la salud reproductiva de este sector de la sociedad en Cuba. Objetivo: Evaluar el grado de conocimiento e información relacionadas con la sexualidad de las pacientes adolescentes que llegaron a la consulta de aborto del hospital Luis Mario Cruz Cruz en el año 2018. Método: Se realizó una investigación observacional de corte transversal, para describir el grado de conocimiento e información sobre algunos elementos relacionados con la sexualidad en el inicio de la vida reproductiva de las pacientes menores de 20 años que acudieron a la consulta especializada de aborto del Hospital Luis Mario Cruz Cruz en el año 2018. Resultados: El grupo de 15 a 18 años representó un 59.8% ,un alto número de estas pacientes tuvieron un inicio muy precoz de las relaciones sexuales y la mayoría realizó la primera sin protección, las familias tenían conocimiento de la actividad sexual de las adolescentes, se encontró un escaso conocimiento de los métodos anticonceptivos y de los de interrupción del embarazo y sus complicaciones, la obtención de información la encontraron procedente de la familia , demostrándose en este estudio la pobre percepción del riesgo y receptividad que las hicieran tener una conducta sexual acertada. Recomendaciones: Se deben realizar acciones para orientar a la familia, brindándoles herramientas para el manejo del adolescente, incrementar el papel de los medios audiovisuales y la prensa escrita buscando modelos más interesantes y motivadores que lleven a los adolescentes a buscar información en ellos.

Abstract
Introduction: Abortion in adolescence is a fundamental element that affects the reproductive health of this sector of society in Cuba. Objective: To evaluate the degree of knowledge and information related to the sexuality of adolescent patients who came to the abortion clinic at the Luis Mario Cruz Cruz Hospital in 2018. Method: A cross-sectional observational investigation was carried out to describe the degree of knowledge and information about some elements related to sexuality at the beginning of the reproductive life of patients under 20 years of age who attended the specialized abortion consultation of the Luis Mario Cruz Cruz Hospital in 2018. Results: The group of 15 at 18 years represented 59.8%, a high number of these patients had a very early start of sexual relations and most had the first without protection, the families were aware of the sexual activity of adolescents, little knowledge was found of contraceptive methods and those of termination of pregnancy and its complications, obtaining information the enc They were found from the family, demonstrating in this study the poor perception of risk and receptivity that made them have a successful sexual behavior. Conclution: Actions should be carried out to guide the family, providing them with tools for managing the adolescent, increasing the role of the audiovisual media and the written press, seeking more interesting and motivating models that lead adolescents to seek information from them.
