Resumen
Las relaciones internacionales han demostrado un dinamismo tremendo en la etapa de transición intersistémica iniciada desde el fin de la Guerra Fría. Las antiguas concepciones de política exterior son superadas rápidamente por conceptos novedosos que los Estados comienzan a aplicar en sus relaciones exteriores. En los últimos años, un concepto ha ganado mucho auge tanto en la aplicación práctica como en el debate académico: el Indo-Pacífico. Este se trata de la superación de las anteriores concepciones de Asia-Pacífico, África Subsahariana y Medio Oriente; pues, el Indo-Pacífico consiste en la combinación de todos los territorios de Asia-Pacífico, de la costa oriental de África y del Golfo Pérsico. Esta combinación de Estados no es casual: de hecho, el surgimiento del mismo concepto Indo-Pacífico se debe al entendimiento por parte de los principales actores de la región de la creciente interacción económica, política, militar e incluso cultural, entre los componentes del área.

JAPAN'S INDO-PACIFIC LOGIC: INITIATIVES IN THE AFRICAN COUNTRIES OF THE INDIAN OCEAN BASIN
Summary
International relations have shown a huge dynamism in the inter-system transition period initiated after the end of the Cold War. Previous conceptions of foreign policy are surpassed quickly by fresh concepts the States began to apply on their foreign policies. Recently, one of those concepts has earned a great success both in its practical application as well as in the theoretic debate: The Indo-Pacific. It surpasses the previous conceptions of Asia-Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa and Middle East; because it encompasses all the territories of Asia-Pacific, the Eastern African Coast and the Persian Gulf. This combination of States is not random: in fact, the rise of the very concept of the Indo-Pacific comes from the understanding of the main actors of the region of the growing economic, political, military and even cultural interaction between the components of the area.
