RESPONSABILIDAD SOCIAL EN LA GESTIÓN DEL SECTOR ACUÍCOLA EN EL DEPARTAMENTO DEL VALLE DEL CAUCA

RESUMEN

El objetivo es analizar las actividades de responsabilidad social en la gestión del sector acuícola en el departamento del Valle del Cauca que posibiliten la sostenibilidad de la cadena productiva, a partir del modelo “Triple cuenta de resultados”. El diseño metodológico se aborda desde el enfoque cualitativo, con un alcance de estudio descriptivo; se realizó un diseño de investigación documental que emplea la hermenéutica y el análisis de discurso para el establecimiento de un marco conceptual y de categorías que permitieron el análisis de contenido de los documentos objeto de estudio, relacionados con el sector acuícola. A partir del modelo se desarrollarán los aspectos económicos, sociales y ambientales relevantes en el subsector acuícola; es así como, en lo económico y en lo social, el cultivo de especies dinamiza la actividad productiva de familias de la región; sin embargo, las condiciones sociales de algunos municipios ponen en riesgo la sostenibilidad de la actividad misma y el desarrollo económico de la región; es por ello que fortalecer la cadena productiva, con una mirada de responsabilidad social, a través de la formulación de políticas públicas articuladas en consenso con la comunidad, llevarían al mejoramiento de las condiciones de empleabilidad, bienestar, educación, salud y ambientales en el territorio.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE AQUACULTURE SECTOR IN THE DEPARTMENT OF VALLE DEL CAUCA

ABSTRACT

The objective is to analyze the activities of social responsibility in the management of the aquaculture sector in the department of Valle del Cauca that enable the sustainability of the production chain, based on the “Triple income statement” model. The methodological design is approached from the qualitative approach, with a descriptive study scope; A documentary research design was carried out that uses hermeneutics and discourse analysis for the establishment of a conceptual framework and categories that allowed the content analysis of the documents under study, related to the aquaculture sector. From the model the relevant economic, social and environmental aspects in the aquaculture subsector will be developed; This is how, economically and socially, the cultivation of species invigorates the productive activity of families in the region; However, the social conditions of some municipalities put at risk the sustainability of the activity itself and the economic development of the region; That is why strengthening the production chain, with a view of social responsibility, through the formulation of public policies articulated in consensus with the community, would lead to the improvement of employability, well-being, education, health and environmental conditions in the territory.
