RESUMEN
El enfoque de este estudio fue analizar la situación de la apicultura y conocer los obstáculos y posibilidades de la producción de miel en el municipio de Dom Pedrito, ubicado en el extremo sur de Brasil. La apicultura se ha presentado como una posibilidad de diversificación en la región pampeana brasileña. Para responder al objetivo, se realizaron inmersiones de campo entrevistando a siete apicultores, utilizando un guión con preguntas semiestructuradas y posterior análisis textual del discurso. Los resultados muestran que el 10% de la producción se vende internamente y el 90% se exporta, resultando rentable, pero una cadena muy desorganizada.

ABSTRACT
The focus of this study was to analyze the beekeeping situation and learn about the obstacles and possibilities of honey production in the municipality of Dom Pedrito, located in the extreme south of Brazil. Beekeeping has been presented as a possibility of diversification in the Brazilian Pampa region. To answer the objective, field dives were conducted by interviewing seven beekeepers, using a script with semi-structured questions and subsequent textual analysis of the discourse. The results show that 10% of the production is sold internally and 90% is exported, being profitable, but a very disorganized chain.
