RESUMO
O turismo cultural tem por finalidade a valorização da história, do cotidiano, dos lugares, dos saberes e fazeres de uma comunidade, elementos estes que compõem o patrimônio local. Este artigo discute a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica, o turismo e a valorização do patrimônio do município de Morretes - PR. Observou-se que município possui movimentação turística, bens patrimoniais tombados pelo governo do estado, e um roteiro turístico cultural, mas ainda não oferece uma visitação interpretativa.

TOURISM AND HERITAGE APPRECIATION

ABSTRACT
Cultural tourism aims appreciation of the history, people, places, knowledge and practices of a community, elements that make up the local heritage. This article discusses from bibliographic research, tourism and appreciation of the heritage of Morretes - PR. It was observed that the municipality has touristic movement, some edifications classified as heritage by the state government, and cultural tourist route, but still does not offer an  interpretive visitation.
