May I think you on behalf of the Faculty of Law and Financial Studies for the books which you sent to the Faculty Library. They are a very welcome donation and will be of considerable interest to members of the Faculty, particularly those with an interest in European Law.

Enclosed with your letter were leaflets on other publications and those on legal history and Roman law would be of particular interest to myself. I note that you mentioned a special price for professors and assume that this means for individuals. I had in mind to order them or our Library and I should be glad to know the price applicable in that case.

You will have received by separate post my reply to your enquiry about the teaching of Roman law and legal history.

Illustre Collega e caro Amico,

Sta per scadere il termine stabilito per la consegna dei contributi agli studi in onore del Padre Gonzalo Martínez Díez ed io mi trovo con il testo definitivo, mancante però delle note.

Cosa da poco, se non fossi oberato da precedenti impegni.

La prego di volermi accordare una proroga fino al termine massimo della fine d’aprile.

Spero che, a suo tempo, Le sia stata racapitata la copia di tutti i volumi dei miei scritti, destinata a sostituire quella da Lei data al dottor Rico.

Da tempo manco di Sue notizie, che spero buone.

Spero anche di potere partecipare a tra maggio e giugno alla Journées della Società francese di storia del diritto, che si terranno in Spagna a San Sebastián. Ho già riservato la camera in albergo. Sarei particolarmente lieto di incontrarLa.
