Resumen 

El propósito de la investigación es diseñar una interfaz móvil como medio de difusión de las actividades turísticas que se realizan en la parroquia Eloy Alfaro del cantón Latacunga, de tal manera se pretende revalorizar sus bienes culturales y patrimoniales, los cuales debido a la escasez de medios difusores ha desencadenado que los turistas desconozcan las actividades que se desarrollan en la parroquia. La metodología de investigación es de carácter bibliográfica, donde se aplicó conocimientos teóricos y técnicos del diseño de interfaces y la relación entre el diseño gráfico y el turismo; a través de la investigación documental y de campo se recabó información sobre los bienes de interés patrimonial. Por otra parte, las técnicas de investigación como la encuesta, entrevista, observación y focus group sirvieron para identificar las manifestaciones culturales que sus habitantes pretenden impulsar turísticamente para generar ingresos económicos. En cambio, las diferentes etapas de la metodología del diseño centrado en el usuario (DCU) permitieron definir un diseño lineal y una estructura interactiva en el diseño del prototipo, enfocándose a las necesidades, características y objetivos del usuario. Como resultado se identificaron los sitios turísticos de mayor interés que a posterior se aplicaron en medios gráficos y multimedia en el diseño de la interfaz de la aplicación móvil APP TEA, la cual tiene el propósito de informar sobre las actividades turísticas de la parroquia Eloy Alfaro generando una experiencia distinta al visitar la parroquia.

DESIGN OF MOBILE INTERFACE AS A BROADCASTING MEDIA FOR TOURISM ACTIVITIES IN THE ELOY ALFARO PARISH, LATACUNGA-ECUADOR

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to design a mobile interface as a broadcast medium of the tourist activities carried out in the Eloy Alfaro parish in Latacunga canton, in such a way to revalue cultural and heritage assets, which due to the lack of means Diffusers have triggered tourists unaware of the activities that take place in the parish. The methodology research is about bibliographic character, where theoretical and technical knowledge of interface design and the relationship between graphic design and tourism were applied; Through documentary and the area it was researched, information was collected on assets of heritage interest. On the other hand, research techniques such as survey, interview, observation and focus group served to identify the cultural manifestations that its inhabitants intend to promote the tourism to generate economic income. Instead, the different stages of the user-centered design (DCU) methodology allowed to define a linear design and an interactive structure in the quintessential design, focusing on needs, characteristics and objectives of the user. As a result, the tourist sites of greatest interest were identified, which were subsequently applied in graphic and multimedia in the design of the interface of the mobile application app TEA, which has the purpose to inform about the tourist activities of Eloy Alfaro parish, generating a different experience to visit the parish.
