EL CORRETAJE INMOBILIARIO EN SAN LUIS POTOSÍ: UNA PERSPECTIVA DE GÉNERO

RESUMEN

Este trabajo muestra en base a entrevistas realizadas a mujeres dedicadas al corretaje inmobiliario en San Luis Potosí, que esta actividad por las características encontradas puede considerarse como una fuente de autoempleo y emprendimiento rentable para las mujeres que deseen combinar sus roles familiares y profesionales en su vida cotidiana. De forma general, se presentan los resultados obtenidos de la aplicación de 9 entrevistas realizadas a profundidad a mujeres que trabajan en alguna empresa o de forma independiente en el corretaje inmobiliario, el cual se constituye actualmente como uno de los sectores estratégicos en San Luis Potosí. Además, se incorporan diferentes características encontradas de manera general en el estudio realizado, destacando por ejemplo que no es necesario tener una formación académica relacionada al corretaje, además de mostrar que se cuenta con una igualdad de género para desarrollar esta actividad. De igual forma, se encontró que la flexibilidad de horarios con la que se cuenta en el corretaje inmobiliario, que permite no solamente completar el ingreso familiar, sino también que se adquiere satisfacción por la actividad realizada.

ABSTRACT

THE REAL-ESTATE BROKERAGE IN SAN LUIS POTOSÍ: A GENDER PERSPECTIVE  

Some of the information presented in this paper draws from interviews conducted with women dedicated to real-estate and goods brokerage in the State of San Luis Potosí,  this activity, due to the characteristics found, can be considered a source of self-employment and profitable entrepreneurship for women who wish to combine their family and professional roles in their daily lives. In general, the results obtained from the application of 9 in-depth interviews with women who work in a company or independently in real estate brokerage, which is currently one of the strategic sectors of San Luis Potosi are presented. In addition, different characteristics found in a general way in the study carried out are incorporated, emphasizing for example that it is not necessary to have an academic formation related to the brokerage. in addition to showing that there is gender equality to develop this activity. Similarly, it was found that the flexibility of schedules that are available in real estate brokerage, which allows not only complete family income, but also that it acquires satisfaction for the activity.
