Resumen
El presente trabajo desarrolla la idea de una definición holística del turismo y explora los diferentes problemas que han tenido los abordajes precedentes. Bajo la premisa que el turismo es parte del sistema onírico cuya función es regular la práctica social de la sociedad, se establecen nuevas formas de estudiar el fenómeno que apelan a la comprensión inter-cultural y a la aceptación real no cosificada de otras culturas. Nuestra tesis, es que no existe un turismo sino diversos turismos que se adaptan a las necesidades de cada cultura y sociedad permitiendo una adaptación sistémica entre economía, religión, política y seguridad.

Abstract
The present paper develops the needs for an all-encompassed view of tourism exploring the precedent limitations in the line of time other approaches showed. Under the premise that tourism is associated to onyric sub-system whose ends are aimed at controlling the social and personal behavior, it is hypothesized new forms and methods for understanding tourism from a cross-cultural manner are needed rather than a one-sided view.  From this point of view, our thesis is that there seems not to be one definition of tourism but there are many tourism(s) adjusted to the requirements of each society in order to allow a new intra systemic dialogue between economy, religion, politics and security.
