RESUMEN
El comercio justo es una alternativa para acceder a los consumidores que valoran el esfuerzo y trabajo de los productores, con esquemas de comercialización trasparentes y socialmente responsables, con la comunidad en la que están inmersos al garantizarse un pago justo por los productos originarios, otros aspectos importantes son la no discriminación, condiciones de trabajo con las medidas de seguridad para garantizar el bienestar de los trabajadores en el proceso de producción y respetando el equilibrio con el medio ambiente.
Para realizar el diagnóstico del potencial del comercio justo de los productos originarios de Santa María Yucuhiti, Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca, México, tiene como finalidad demostrar que el municipio reúne las condiciones que la filosofía del movimiento del comercio justo establece para tener oportunidades justas en la comercialización de productos originarios que forman parte de su estilo y sustento de la  vida de los habitantes de esta área geográfica  incrustada entre las montañas del estado de Oaxaca. Con el resultado de la investigación documental, el diagnostico interno y externo, la investigación de campo se puede afirmar  con certeza que Santa María Yucuhiti tiene el potencial para  el comercio justo de café, miel y artesanías de textil.

ASBTRACT
Fair trade is an alternative to access consumers who value the effort and work of producers, with transparent and socially responsible marketing schemes, with the community in which they are immersed in guaranteeing a fair payment for originating products, other aspects Important are non-discrimination, working conditions with safety measures to guarantee the well-being of workers in the production process and respecting the balance with the environment.
To diagnose the potential of fair trade of products originating in Santa María Yucuhiti, Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca, Mexico, it is intended to demonstrate that the municipality meets the conditions established by the philosophy of the fair trade movement to have fair opportunities in commercialization. Of original products that are part of their style and livelihood of the inhabitants of this geographical area embedded between the mountains of the state of Oaxaca. With the result of the documentary investigation, the internal and external diagnosis, the field investigation can be affirmed with certainty that Santa María Yucuhiti has the potential for the fair trade of coffee, honey and textile crafts.
