RESUMEN
La participación integra de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí (UNESUM) con la sociedad se da desde varios escenarios que comprende desde lo interinstitucional a lo intrainstitucional, que no necesariamente se reflejan en el plan curricular de la Universidad, si no que surgen dentro de planificación estratégica de las instituciones para cumplir con los objetivos y metas capaces de impulsar la extensión solidaria, colaborativa e investigativa, de modo que se pueda fortalecer y difundir el conocimiento, siendo un pilar fundamental en la mejora de la calidad de vida de los involucrados. El objetivo general del trabajo de investigación es analizar la participación que tiene la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí, en relación con los proyectos de vinculación con la sociedad y su aporte a la responsabilidad social universitaria, de manera que se identifiquen ejes estratégicos que promueven un adecuado análisis y evaluación de los modelos de gestión universitaria para responder a una necesidad social y atender a los problemas por los que se enfrentan las comunidades vulnerables. Entre las principales conclusiones se estipula que la participación que tienen las Instituciones de Educación Superior con las sociedades es un apoyo pertinente para formar profesionales de calidad capaces de gestionar conflictos, de forma que los estudiantes estén dispuestos a enfrentar la problemática de la vida real y participar activamente de los proyectos que propone la institución, los cuales han sido acogidos satisfactoriamente por las comunidades que han recibido la ayuda, resaltando la responsabilidad social que se tiene con el medio.

PROJECTS AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION IN THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STATE UNIVERSIDAD ESTATAL DEL SUR DE MANABÍ.

ABSTRACT
The integrated participation of the State University of southern Manabí (UNESUM) with society comes from several scenarios ranging from interinstitutional to intrainstitutional, which are not necessarily reflected in the curriculum plan of the University, but that arise within strategic planning of the institutions to meet the objectives and goals capable of promoting the extension of solidarity , collaborative and research, so that knowledge can be strengthened and disseminated, being a fundamental pillar in improving the quality of life of those involved. The overall objective of the research work is to analyze the participation of the State University of southern Manabí, in relation to projects of connection with society and its contribution to university social responsibility, so that strategic axes that promote an adequate analysis and evaluation of university management models are identified to respond to a social need and to address the problems faced by vulnerable communities. Among the main conclusions is that the participation of higher education institutions with societies is relevant support to train quality professionals capable of managing conflicts, so that students are willing to face the problems of real life and actively participate in the projects proposed by the institution, which have been satisfactorily welcomed by the communities that have received the aid , highlighting the social responsibility you have with the medium.
