DIDÁCTICA DE LA LECTURA

Propuesta de enunciados de ejercicios para los textos literarios
Si los textos literarios, se configuran a partir de la combinación de la lengua oral y escrita, entre el lenguaje natural y artificial; si hay presencia de abundantes recursos estilísticos y medios expresivos; si cuya finalidad es expresar la plasticidad del lenguaje, si su función es estética y si se debe trabajar en función de la operación generalizada interpretar. Entonces, se sugiere el siguiente conjunto de enunciados de ejercicios cuya finalidad es potenciar la referida operación generalizada. El citado conjunto de ejercicios se basa en el texto, en su contexto como máxima unidad de significación y tienen en cuenta la relación intersujetos. Es además el resultado de los estudios teóricos y experimentales que ha permitido demostrar su factibilidad para desarrollar la referida operación generalizada y las operaciones que la integran.
El mismo enfatiza en la significación inferencial del texto, en la deducción del espacio socio-cultural, la determinación de la significación expresada en ideas o imágenes y la ubicación del macro-contexto. De ahí, que se deban aplicar con los textos literarios.

- Discuss with your partner what would you do, & how would you feel or respond, if you were in a situation similar to the one in the poem.
- Discuss with your classmates & teacher what are appropriate behaviors or feelings in your culture or society in the particular situation the poem depicts.
- Imagine you are filming the poem...Decide what visual image you’ d provide for each line or verse. Justify your choices.
- Write your poem using as reference the original one.
- Fill the following sociogram, illustrating the main characters & their relationships to one another.
- Select the episodes of the play that have called your attention the most. Then, act them out.
- Discuss with your teacher & classmates the events in your country during the period of the story. How do they contrast with the historical or cultural background in the story?
- Write a review of the story.
- In your opinion, what ´s the relation between the facts state in the text & the role of the individuals in your society.
A continuación se presenta un ejemplo de un texto literario y alguno de los ejercicios que se pueden aplicar con el mismo.
“The Present”
(...) Della was crying in her home (...) signs of poverty everywhere. She had been saving every penny she could for a month to buy Jim, her husband; a present. But$1.87 was not enough (...).
There were two possessions in which Jim & Della took a great pride. One was Jim’s gold watch,(...), & the other was Della’ s beautiful hair.(...).
(On the one hand Della sold her hair to buy a chain for Jim & on the other hand, Jim sold his watch to buy Della a set of combs.)
“Give your watch,” said she, “I want to see how it looks on it”
“Della,” said he, “let’s put our presents away. They are too nice to use as present. (...)”
Exercises:

Estos ejercicios permiten valorar al texto en su contexto como máxima unidad de significación. Hacen énfasis en la significación inferencial del texto, en la deducción del espacio socio-cultural del mismo, en la determinación de la significación expresada en ideas o imágenes y en la ubicación del meso -contexto; por lo que permiten la potenciación de la operación generalizada interpretar, al hacer énfasis no solo en lo explícito; sino también en lo implícitamente expresado.
En el primer ejercicio, por ejemplo, el discente va a realizar un dibujo, para lo cual es indispensable el entendimiento del texto y en ese dibujo va a reflejar no solo la esencia del mismo, sino su mundo subjetivo, su nivel de creatividad e imaginación, cuestiones estas que caracterizan la interpretación.
En el último se propone que el alumno aprenda a tomar posición crítica ante un objeto, hecho o fenómeno, proceso natural o social, incluso de personalidades. Su realización implica que el discente tenga que valorar lo que presupone que contraponga el objeto de estudio con otros puntos de vista, con sus patrones de conducta y valores morales.
Al propiciar al estudiante el desarrollo de acciones valorativas con alto grado de significación, estos se convertirán en motivos de su personalidad que los preparan para la vida social práctica.
Una muestra de los referidos ejercicios en español, son los que a continuación se exponen;
- Haga un comentario acerca del texto, dónde lo evalúe críticamente.
- Realice un dibujo que pueda acompañar el texto.
- Escuche las siguientes canciones y asocie la qué más se relaciona con el texto. Justifique su respuesta.
- Plantee para qué el autor codificó el texto.
- Relacione el texto con una de las siguientes figuras. Justifique su respuesta.
- Las siguientes láminas representan diferentes momentos del texto, organícelas según los hechos ocurren.
- ..Rediga el texto con sus propias palabras. Haga todos los cambios necesarios.
- Complete la siguiente lámina de acuerdo con la información que aparece en el texto.
- Imagine… (una situación del texto). ¿Qué Ud encontraría más inusual? ¿Por qué?
- Ud cree que le gustaría… (una situación del texto). ¿Por qué? ¿Por qué no?
- De acuerdo con la información que te proporciona el texto, en su opinión, ¿cuáles son los prejuicios del autor?
- Aquí tienes tres resúmenes del texto. ¿Cuál Ud considera mejor? ¿Por qué?
- Describe algo que te haya sucedido que sea similar a la situación que se presenta en el texto.
- ¿Podría suceder la historia que narra el texto en tu comunidad? ¿Por qué?
- ¿En que medidas los eventos que narra el texto son diferentes a lo de tu comunidad?
- El cuento trata sobre... ¿Es aún posible en nuestra sociedad?
- Enuncie las referencias de los hechos reales.
- ¿Algún personaje de este cuento hizo algo que te daría miedo hacer? Explique.
- Refriera el propósito de los dos primeros versos del poema.
- Refriera el propósito del último verso de la canción.
- ¿Qué Ud puede decir de la persona a quién el autor le escribe?
- ¿Qué Ud puede decir del autor del texto?
- ¿Puede Ud inferir?:
- La época del año
- El día de la semana
- La hora del día
- ¿Cómo hubiese cambiado el cuento si...?
- Comente acerca… (cualquier personaje).
- Imagine que Ud es… (un personaje), ¿qué Ud haría si…?
- Exprese su significación acerca del texto.
- De acuerdo con la información que aparece en el texto, complete las siguientes ideas:
