Sir William Henry Beveridge, Barn de Tuggal fue un economista ingls nacido en Rangpur, Bangladesh.

 William Henry BeveridgeAlumno de Charterhouse y del Balliol College (Oxford), se interes por las Ciencias Sociales y, en particular por los problemas del paro. Desempe los cargos de subsecretario de la Cmara de Comercio (1908-16), director de la Escuela de Economa y Ciencia Poltica de Londres (1919-37), decano del University College, Oxford (1937-45) y miembro del Parlamento por el Partido Liberal (1944-45).
