RESUMEN
En el presente artículo se propone un procedimiento metodológico para medir la demanda turística que sea posible aplicar en cualquier destino turístico. De acuerdo a esta investigación, para medir la demanda turística de un lugar es necesario evaluar indicadores estadísticos y bases de datos históricos sobre la demanda y oferta turística, analizar la demanda real mediante los visitantes, así como la percepción que tienen los prestadores de servicios turísticos sobre ella.

El documento está divido en dos partes. En la primera se hace una revisión bibliográfica en la cual se identifican los principales factores que determinan la oferta turística y cuáles son los factores influyen sobre la demanda turística, y en la segunda parte se hace una propuesta metodológica para medir la demanda turística de un destino.

ABSTRACT
In the present article a methodical procedure is proposed to measure tourism demand, which is able to be applied in any tourist destination. According to the research to measure tourism demand of a destination it is necessary to evaluate statistic indicators and historic databases of demand and tourism supply, analyze the real demand of the visitors, as well as the perception of the sector service providers.

The document is divided in two parts. The first part addresses the referential theoretical framework, in which to identify the main factors that determine the tourism supply and in which the different factors that influence over tourism demand are identified. In the second part the proposed methodical procedure is developed.
