RESUMEN:

Los estudios asociados a la Contabilidad y el Medio Ambiente están ocupando un lugar importante dentro de las investigaciones contables por las implicaciones de esta temática en la búsqueda del añorado desarrollo sostenible.

Desde esta perspectiva el presente trabajo presenta una serie de reflexiones sobre el grado de avance de la Contabilidad Medioambiental en el sector turístico cubano donde se expone como a pesar de los resultados que se han obtenido en materia de investigación aún son incipientes los esfuerzos por lograr un consenso desde el punto de vista normativo en el país. No obstante, se muestran una serie de procedimientos que se han venido conformando así como la viabilidad de los mismos a través de estudios de caso.

SUMMARY:

The studies associated to the Accounting and the Environment are occupying an important place inside the countable investigations for the implications of this thematic one in the search of the one missed sustainable development.

From this perspective the present work presents a series of reflections on the grade of advance of the Environmental Accounting in the Cuban tourist sector where it is exposed like in spite of the results that they have been obtained as regards investigation they are still incipient the efforts to achieve a consent from the normative point of view in the country. Nevertheless, they are shown a series of procedures that one has come conforming as well as the viability of the same ones through case studies.
