Resumen:

El sector turístico es muy dinámico, competitivo y complejo. Además, está cada vez más determinado por las decisiones que adoptan los grandes intermediarios del canal de distribución turístico. En este contexto muchos profesionales de marketing turístico consideran que tienen escaso margen de actuación para diseñar, lanzar y gestionar productos turísticos. Sin embargo, las propias características de los clientes, la de los productos y las de su ciclo vital permiten que se puedan realizar innumerables programas y actuaciones de marketing para gestionar los productos y servicios turísticos. Este artículo constituye un recorrido por las principales características de los productos turísticos, presentando alternativas de gestión comercial de gran utilidad y valor.

Title: The tourist marketing and the product management.

Abstract:

The tourist sector is very complex, dynamic and competitive. In addition, it is determined increasingly by the decisions that the big intermediaries of the tourist channel of distribution adopt. In this context many professionals of tourist marketing think that they have not a great margin for action to design, to throw and to manage tourist products. Nevertheless, the own characteristics of the clients, of the products and of his vital cycle make possible that innumerable programs and actions of marketing could be realized to manage the products and tourist services. This article constitutes a tour for the principal characteristics of the tourist products, and show some usefulness and valuable alternatives of commercial management.
