Resumen
El turismo como factor de desarrollo económico local constituye en la actualidad un tema de vital importancia dentro de la economía mundial. Nuestro país no está exento de esta tendencia ya que desde la década de los noventa debido a manifestaciones coyunturales y estructurales de la economía cubana este sector se ha ido situando en la vanguardia dentro del ámbito económico.
La presente investigación aborda el tema: El sector turístico: su incidencia en el desarrollo económico local. Caso Villa Clara, a partir de la necesidad de profundizar en estudios desarrollados sobre esta problemática. En la misma, se persigue obtener un mayor conocimiento sobre los resultados obtenidos y los que se esperan alcanzar referente el efecto arrastre de la actividad turística en los demás sectores de la economía a partir de las potencialidades turísticas del territorio.
El trabajo contiene los antecedentes macroeconómicos, la incidencia del turismo en el desarrollo económico local de Villa Clara y algunas consideraciones metodológicas que posibilitan el diagnóstico de los recursos turísticos, arribando a importantes conclusiones y recomendaciones que contribuyen con las investigaciones sobre el tema.
Abstract
Tourism as a factor of the economic development constitutes currently a topic of vital importance in the world economy. Our country is not exempt of this trend given because since the decade of the 1990, owes to temporary and structural manifestations of the economy in this sector, it has been taking a vanguard position in the economic ambit.
The present research deals with the topic: The tourist sector: Its impact in the local economic development. Villa Claras case, from the need of deepening in developed studies on this problem. In it we perceive to obtain a better understanding of the ones acquired and the ones that we expect to obtain in reference to the drag-effect of the tourist activity in the rest of the sectors of the economy on the basis of the tourist potentialities of the territory.
The work contains the macro economic antecedents, the impact of tourism in the local development of the economy in Villa Clara and some methodological considerations that will facilitate the diagnosis of the tourist resources, arriving to important conclusions and recommendations that contribute with the investigation on the topic.
