The new social science electronic journal, based in Spain, Entelequia. Revista Interdisciplinar has initiated a vigorous publications programs in English and Spanish on different aspects of international relations and the international system.
For a start, the editorial committee welcomes among others, articles on:
Forthcoming issues would especially welcome theoretically and empirically well founded articles on Islam and the West, on Asia and China, Latin America, CIS (former-USSR), international economics, Europe, regional integration, international organization, and theories of international relations, especially world systems studies.
Manuscripts, furthering the understanding of world civilizations, the just participation of the countries of the periphery and semi-periphery in international trade, social justice and democracy around the globe, are also highly welcome.
As a rule, manuscripts (in either English or Spanish) will be published as a PDF-file. Contributions should be both theoretically and empirically well founded, and must be written in a style that not only experts, but also international decision makers, foreign service officials, cabinet staff, diplomats etc. can read the text. Ideally, statistical and mathematical arguments should be presented as a link to your own website and in such a way that decision makers can get an idea of the essence of the argument in the text without going too much into the details.
An abstract, not longer than 200 words, preferably using such systems as the Journal of Economic Literature classifications should accompany the text. The entire manuscript, with the alphabetical literature list and all tables and graphs etc. included, should be approximately 8,000 words, and on occasion longer manuscripts (maximum 10,000 words) will be accepted.
Authors should present texts that were language-edited by a native speaker of either Spanish or English, if they are not certain whether or not their text corresponds linguistically to international standards.
A spelling check and grammar check (for either Spanish Spanish or Argentine Spanish, or Australian, British, Irish or American English) should be performed before sending manuscripts to the editors.
Interested authors should send their manuscripts in compatible format (i.e. OpenOffice, RTF, Word or TeX), preferably formatted in Times Roman 11.0 font, single spaced, to: journal.entelequia at gmail.com
